Just wondering if the top 1/3 adds depth to the whole picture or would better be left out.

The soft hills adds some depth to the scene....and the red roofs add some extra punch of colour and life to the shot. It's a village spread on a hilly area, and at any time of day the light is bound to fall gracefully on some slope. This area inspired a whole school of painting back in the 70's. Comments by Val Dragu on Mon, 10/26/09 14:27 Thank you all for comments & critiques! @ Maria Salvador, Paul Cooper & Rory Hudson: I can't remember very well the moment when I took the picture but the branches on the left are more likely something I included on purpose. (I do this sometimes, when I think it can add depth to the picture.) In this case, I might have included the branches on the left as a balance for the yellow branches bottom-right, which I seem to remember I just couldn't avoid.
