This is great Julie, textures abound. Snipe Hunt eh? I went on a Snipe hunt once. They left me out there all night.

One has a feel of being there with the spray of woodchips covering the guy shaping the wood in the lathe. The light works well to highlight the man with the b&w format helping to focus the viewer's attention on the woodworker. A home woodshop without an protective gear for hand or eye?

Nice control of the light and remarkably sharp considering the light was presumably fairly low. I might have liked to see a bit more of the man's face.

When I opened this up, I was immediately covered in wood chippings!!

Good shot Julie - interesting social documentary photography.

Oh, Yah...and you need big strong arms for Snipe hunting. This person looks like a pro sniper, for sure.
