Lisbon

Walking along Lisbon roads to the Castle. She was right there, with that right
light, and that door framing. Converted in BW with PS.

The contrasting light and darkened portions of the background works well to complement the light/dark garments that the woman is wearing. I find the interplay of shadow and light on the right side of the background wall serves well as a backdrop for the woman herself (I had thought initially that perhaps cropping to just that lightened wall would enhance the image... it didn't... at least not for me). The tilt of the woman's position in the image gives the picture an uncomfortable feel but I find that tilt is necessary to work with the uneasy feel of the woman's body in the picture.
