role model

My wife told me I should get rid of the cigarette. I will never be able to be a role model now. Sorry kids. I was actually smoking it. What was I thinking?

The toning and the cracked nature of the picture creates the sense of an old photograph. With that vintage feel in mind the cigarette enhances the sense of another time when cigarettes were simply an accepted part of our day to day life.

Nice minimalized portrait. I don't know how difficult it is to play guitar and smoke a cigarette at the same time, but maybe you decided it had to be one or the other.

Not only play guitar with a cigarette in hand, but take an SP at the same time! Such a multi-tasker. The cigarette doesn't look lit. You could stick it behind your ear. ;-)

:-)Hello there!
Inspired by Malhoa? Nice tones and texture on this portrait.

Nice to meet you Luis. This would make a good cover for a CD!!! Minus the smoke though :)

Lovely to meet you!

I remember the bass player for Hughie Lewis and the News playing with a cigarette in his mouth. Then of course Clapton put cigarette burns on his favorite Stratocaster Blackie when he used to tuck his under the strings on the head.

Hi there! :-)

Your wife is right! But I can imagine that you wanted to create a certain image with a
cigarette, because you do smoke and it is a selfportrait, but the effect would have been
better if the cigarette looks lit and used. This one looks fresh out of the package.
Great photo with great textures!
