Shadow Tree

The sunset cast a nice shadow of the tree on the side of a white barn. I left the
bottom frame slightly diagonal to break up the vertical lines of the barn boards.
Converted to B + W in channel conversion.

I see that you are also fascinated by the strong shadows cast by the leaf less trees at this time of the year. I prefer the images in color but there is a solid contrast here between the shadows cast by the tree and the white barn which creates the illusion that one is actually looking at a real tree rather than its shadowy counterpart.

Very interesting shot...the tree has a nice shape.

It looks like the shadow of a dancing tree. I wish it would be a bit darker but maybe it's just me, lately I like darker tones. I do not know if a bit of more tilting to the left would have helped, the shadow seems to fall on the right side because of the large lower branch.

Great find, I love the slated barn boards as a backdrop for the tree.

I like the shadow on the boards, but for me, the wedge at the bottom doesn't help. Just my opinion, though!

Nice textures under the shadow.

Nice one, although I agree with Linda re the bottom.
