Striking how the early sunlight has caught the edges of the sand dunes and created the sense of waves moving towards the viewer. What light and what a view to wake up to... any idea how high those dunes might be?

Wonderful curves of sand lit by the low sun.

It pays to be there early! Great capture.

If I woke up to this I'd hope I had enough lens horsepower to extract some of the sunlit areas. I like the middle dune with it's nicely curving line. IMO there't too much foreground in deep shade.

At first I thought this might be Great Sand Dunes. I like the light on the dunes, maybe a strong pano crop down to just include the bottom crest that lighted would work.

Beautiful shapes formed by that great light! I like the sense of depth provided by the highlighted foreground brushes - but the more abstractive suggested crop will be great too.
