A striking image of the egret and its trio of accompanying shadows. The contrast between the white plumage of the egret and the black shadowy form of the bird and the red brick wall really working to make the egret and its shadowy counterpart stand out strongly in the image with the red reflection in the water helping to bring out the shadowing of the bird.

I've never seen a picture like this. Not just the shadows and reflections, but the whole idea of an egret against a brick wall, crazy light, it's nuts.

Wow. That's really something, Tommy. So many shadows, and the reflection. What was the egret hunting? Did you see him catch anything?

This is fantastic. I really like the lighting and the shadows, very artistic indeed.

I love the contrast between the white of the Egret and the red of the brick wall, with added bonus of the reflection, it really makes the Egret pop.

I have to agree with Ross on this one. I looked and looked and looked and said WTF, how can a shadow have a shadow???\

Very nice image...once in a lifetime shot

The red reflection of the brick wall on the water is interesting enough, but add a heron and a reflection of a shadow of a heron as well as a shadow of a heron and a reflection of a heron on a wall that is reflected on the water and . . . ack, I got lost, but this is a prize winner, Tommy!

I see I've missed a LOT of yours Tommy by being gone there for a while! And WHAT I've missed!! I can't add anything that hasn't been conveyed to you from the other commentors, but Ross, Steve and Dannyshyan seem to say it the best for me.
WoW!!!
