Portland Head Light

Tried to get a different view of this lighthouse by climbing up a hill on the other side.

So sharp and clear... :)
I love the colors, so natural and true.
Especially the whites of the tower.

Thank you Ruth!

The red of the roofs works to make the Portland Head light stand out dramatically in the image. A classic presentation of the lighthouse.

I love the composition in this one. This would be one of my favorites of your series...

Arguably the best looking lighthouse of your series. I wish the skies would be more
cooperative and give you something besides cloudless pale blue.

It's a beautiful shot, what I am wondering about is how the horizon and the roof top are the same line, it looks good, but I know I would probably have tried to get a different angle? Your work is outstanding, btw.

I like the bits of red leaves that echo the red of the rooftops. Such a lovely series, Ruth!
