Magical landscape indeed. The color plays a major role here I guess. But with me I would like to see even more depth (by including some foreground and/or using wider lens). I would say it is a good minimalistic approach for landscape + long exposure, but usually in such type of long exposures including water, it is a frequent habit to include a foreground somehow to lead the eyes of the viewer into the horizon.

I like the toning (blue really works well to bring a moody feel to your composition), the softness in the area of the surf (what was the exposure time for your photograph?) and the near primordial feel that is evoked in the image.

Exposure time was 30 sec on f 14.0
