I find the perspective that you adopted creates the sense of motion on the part of the trees as one moves from left to right in the picture. The merging of the trees on the right along with the slight fog works to create the sense of a blur... and thus motion in my mind. I like this picture with a black background which works to complement the muted colors of the autumn setting.

too bad it wasn't a bit colder...trees look ultra spectacular with all of their branches frozen with fog mist....this is pretty good though :)

I agree with Jan about this one. Also for me it has the feel that those trees are a part of a long procession coming from the mist... Very nice.

Good in every respect. I like the gradient affect in the trees created by the fog.
