A very melodious and sweet singer of the fields.

version 2

Clarity of detailing and contrast work hand in hand to create two visually appealing images of the sparrow. I like the complementary nature of the bird's claws and the barbs of the barbed wire fencing and the catchlight in the sparrow's eyes which works to make both images come to life for me.

I prefer #2 for colour and comp but the sharpness bothers me. Did you
soften the body or is it oof. I see the barbed wire is sharp and the eye
and beak don't seem to be too bad.

Both are very nice, Mr. Meek. I like the comp of the OP -- including the careful inclusion
of the metal fence post. That barbed wire is excellent... Love the beautifully obscured
background too. The 2nd: the processing is very cool. Groovy!

Both are very nice, but especially love the colors and processing on the second.

I like the second one the best. The OP is not sharp where it should be, mainly the head/eye area. But I do like the comp and the processing in the second one though.;-)

Okay, here is another version that's sharper. Thanks everyone for the critiques!

Well, it was sharper before loading it here!
