One sunny day

I'm in the U.K but this is one of my shots from Australia,
taken in 2005 but recently re-visited to see whether I can use any of them seven years later!
This is Sorrento beach near Melbourne. I have used a 20% white layer over the original to depict a feeling of heat and sun.

So that's what open water looks like... after a winter of cold and ice and snow one can feel the warmth of your beach side composition. Usually I would suggest a cropping to eliminate some of the sky but here I find all that sky seems to heighten the sense of a sunny day at the beach. Bet you wish you were there right about now John.

Smooth peacefull feeling with every element falling at the perfect place. This image could be B & W...the pink and «lime» sails make it color. Very nice.

Very nice work to capture the various colored sails all spread out just right. This could work with the people in the f/g cropped out as well.

Very, very nice composition, John... :)
So pleasing colors and scenery.

Like also the elegant frame.
