My Friend

I never get tired of photographing these friends when I go for my walk at the local park...they are always a joy to capture them.;-)

I hope the little fellows get a reward for posing so finely for you Sandi. Good texturing (form both the bark and the squirrel's fur coat), the poses (I always find squirrels such endearing creatures but then I don't have them rattling around in my attic has is the case with some people) and the catchlights in the eyes all work to create two appealing images.

You're doing a great job photographing them. There's quite a few in my neighborhood but
they're so skittish it's very difficult to get a well composed shot. I like the OP best (more tail
and no bright background). As a minor clean-up I'd clone the diagonal branch in the URHC
and the same or burn in the one in the background (the small one parallel with the big one).

Superb portraits of the gentle companion... :)

Inquisitive little fellow. You've got the focus right on, too.

Very nicely done, as always, Sandi!

I like squirrel shots too, especially when they look like these two.
Great focus.

Both are excellent Sandi - cheeking chaps, they are so quick I can never get a picture of one - he obvioulsy knows you have nuts to repay him for posing so well!

He is a great model, indeed. Loving both photos, so well done.
