I like the painterly feel of your composition (in particular where the available light has highlighted the central bud and the attached stem)... especially when the picture is set against a black background. There is something subtle about the image that I find quite appealing... a cascading feel created by your use of the lensbaby (I would imagine that is what has caused the effect) that makes one feel as if they are viewing the flowers through a window during a soft Spring rain.

While I like it and it works just fine as an impressionistic photo, I would also like to see it as a regular shot. I've never seen white poppies.
