interesting "fabric" effect.....and I like the way you cropped it so that the eye moves across the meadow to the blue hills beyond.

There is a strong painterly feel to the composition created, for me, by the form and the colors of the tree trunks. Everything in the image really stands out strongly when one sets the picture against a black background.

I like the muted effect on the underbrush which helps the aspens stand out.

This does almost look like it has been painted, Linda. I love it. Those trees are great.

Very painterly, Linda and beautiful. Are those beech trees? I'll bet you are loving seeing the ground again after all that snow.

A nice painterly effect which for me stands out even more so if you use the black background.

Tastefully done. I sure like the distant view as seen through the copse.

Beautifully done! It's interesting how that distant views draws the eyes away from the foreground trees.

Love it; absolutely gorgeous!

Beautiful. The treatment done adds a nice painterly, and dreamy, effect.

wait a minute... you're saying this wasn't done by Greg Shettler? :)

The silver birch tree trunks deserve better treatment!
It make me wonder what the original looked like?

and here I was just going to say I love those/these trees. And Tony opened his (HUge)mouth. I was also wondering (cause I can't think) what I should work on next(mess up)and I guess Tony (trouble maker) has now pushed(ridiculed) me in that direction. Nice photo Linda, guess it will look all that much better once I submit some of my messed up (pitiful) ones. (have you ever seen a sad example of a Human (Greg)cry in amungst the trees ...can you feel my pain, Linda). John Long will be with Tony on my photos (damn it).
