Tokyo, just spent 10 days there. Expect to see many photos of raw fish and gadgets in the upcoming weeks. (:-0

Okay...first off, I will want to know how/why you get 10 days in Tokyo (and we get none).Love the cloud work in this photo and the bizzare fractured lime green lit building under the bridge. Did you shoot this from your 10 day Hotel ?

I like the flow of the bridge working to carry the eyes of the viewer from edge to edge in the image, how the lighting highlights the central portion of the bridge and makes it stand in the darkness of the evening, and for the price of admission the little ferry in the lower right hand corner which helps to anchor that portion of the image. I didn't read your comments so I did a Google to find out where the bridge was located and discovered that there are walkways on both sides of the bridge to give the pedestrian views of various portions of Tokyo harbour.

excellent pictorial. for a tourist you must have done your research prior to the location shoot to be able to find such a nice view. your choice of shooting at dusk had a wonderful outcome.

Great cityscape. The barge and buoys in LRC break up the water nicely.

Ummmm, because you weren't invited? (:-0

"for a tourist you must have done your research prior to the location shoot to be able to find such a nice view."

Not really, I hadn't realized that this particular vista existed. The location is a waterfront development on a reclaimed island named Odaibo. This was from the top floor of a shopping mall on a very rainy evening.

And no, this was not the view from my hotel. The view from my room was of a 7-11 and the back of another building.

Very nice photo...I've always wanted to visit Tokyo, whats it like for the American tourist? Did you enjoy it? After seeing Lost in Translation, Tokyo seems like a cool place to see.

The landward origin of the Rainbow bridge terminates over water and the ramp that rises up to meet the bridge is an elegant corkscrew spiral. It's a pretty impressive sight.

Please excuse the reflections, they were unavoidable.

A fine set. The first is an excellent stand alone night shot. That said, I really like the futuristic sweep and feel of the the last two.
