One has the sense that there had been a fire here at one time and the smoke had stained the wall to the right of the door... now the position of the glass adjacent to the door evokes that smoky sense for me.

LOvely sized shapes and a great tone of white !!

I like the small grids within the larger areas. A nice touch.

IMHO, I would crop from the bottom of the door to the top of the white building.

Nice visual journey.

An excellent graphical composition. I suspect there are a number of good pictures here with various crops. I do love this one.

I'm trying to like it but compared to your other recent postings it seems kind of static.

Yeah, Andy, it's a bit static. I was just trying to make some statement about how the verticals and horizontals occur and line up with one another, just by virtue of the angle I was able to assume. I liked the rare absence of signs and other clutter. Then there is that big unrequited black horizontal swath coming midway from the right. I was hoping it would throw off whatever balance I was able to achieve. Maybe the door is too central. The doorknob itself is actually about as close to the middle as you can get without causing a black hole.

Too intellectual for me :)

I like how the black of the door seems to be spreading to right, like smoke.

I prefer this image a LOT more tightly cropped, with no buildings above the white building showing.....

I like this image better if cropped from the top. Somehow it makes it stronger in my view.
