Inventive Hinge

It's April Fool's day, but Slacker beat me to it, so I'm just posting a straight photo. Have a foolish day, everybody.

Now this is a hinge that I could see a blacksmith creating out of what was available to them... inventive and well captured with a textural component that makes the rusty horseshoes and weathered wood come through in the picture.

I really like these type of photographs, the texture and simplicity of subject, for me make
them visual treats

That was a clever blacksmith to have re-used those horse shoes. Nice.

Missed it at the time, Ruth, but I love it! The rust on the wood is great.

I just love the detailed grain of the wood. It's almost as if you could reach out and feel it,
rough and worn. I also like the deep colors of the horseshoes...so rich. Great job on this
simple still life, yet so profound in its composition and detail. Also, creative title...
