Buachaille Etive Mòr

ISO 100, 1 second exposure (enough for the fast flow of water) ND filter, f/18 to keep the DOF wide. Comments appreciated.

A striking image with the vertical format creating a strong sense of flow from the distant mountain through to the foreground waterfall. I find setting the image against a grey background helps to enhance the detailing to be found in the middle area of the image... the rocks at the head of the waterfalls. I like the quality of the light, the contrast to be found between the water and the rocks, and the contrast between the distant mountain and the sky which helps to make the mountain stand out quite strongly in the image.

Wish it was mine. I'd be at Aaron Bros. looking for a frame.
