The OP and the following are are excellent (favs of the group). In the OP there's tiny white
flecks between the two. Poop bombing run? The second looks like a torpedo. Very elegant
and IMO it really works because the viewer doesn't see the more traditional raised or lowered
wings.

I like the opening picture with its paintlike feel, the contrast between the two in focus seabirds and the background, and the varying perspective you were able to achieve with those in focus birds but I also like the closing picture with the intrusion of man's hand into this natural setting along with the curiosity of the gull. But all of these images are worthy of enlargement, framing and hanging as a reminder of a trip to the Shetland Islands.

The OP has a surreal look, with the birds so sharp, and the background so oof since it's so far away. I like all of these. Very nicely done.

The 2nd once is really inspiring, I can't remember ever seeing an image quite like this before, may I ask what lens you used ?

Really beautiful photos. The single bird in flight is also my favorite with the group of four in
second. As someone looking for a new telephoto lens, i would love to know what lens you
used for these?

Thanks a lot for your feedback :)

Jeff: Those small dots is water. The bird was diving for fish and was just on its way in the air again. The other one was just about to dive.

Tom & Roter: The lens I've used for all of these are Tamron AF 18-250mm 1:3.5-6.3 (IF) Macro. Despite it is a bit slow on focus I'm quite satisfied since the price is quite low on these lenses.
