Original is a beautiful piece of work. I can't take to Pietro's revision, sorry.

Striking image of the young woman with the furred fringe of her coat serving as a strong framing for her portrait. Her gaze (enhanced by the inclusion of the catchlights) works to capture, and hold the attention of the viewer.

The OP is a wonderful image with the hood blending as an extension of her hair. Maybe sharpen the eyes. Beautiful light and interesting pouty expression. Why spoil it with that emboss filter?

What a great portrait! Love the way she's just kind of lost in the warm embrace of her hood. Beautiful child. The soft focus doesn't bother me. With a different subject it might, but here I think it adds to the overall warmth and good feeling of the image.

Thank you so much for the comments. I'm so excited! I'm just a beginning photographer and I'm having so much fun with it.

Lovely exquisite portrait. Yes, I agree to sharpen her eyes just a tad so that they draw the viewer right in.

Teresa! Do you live anywhere close to Indiana?! If so, I'm inviting myself over and you can teach me how to do this! Oh, my, it is just beautiful. I would love to be able to do something this good.
