The Swimmers

Taken from a high bluff in Michigan. The colors were that way, probably from the sunlight reflecting off the bottom.

A great catch. Amazing colours!

Strong coloring works well with a black background... makes me think of a rainbow hitting the ground and under all that water is buried the treasure. I like the sense of scale (there is a vastness to the setting with the lone swimmers set against the expanse of water), the colors (obviously), and the abstractive feel of the composition.

Colors are amazing! This is kind of abstracty the way the water looks. F8 and be there!

wow, those are incredible colours, those lucky people were enjoying a special swim. Great capture.

The people in it are OK but IMO it's a great abstract without them. Excellent contrast betweeen warm and cool tones.

I suspect this shot is related to your earlier shot of graduated colors. At any rate, very nice. In this one, the fixed and relatively sharp figures anchor the image and give a fine sense of scale. Very nice color.

It made me think of this photograph:

The colors of the water are nice, but your image does not at all look good on my LCD
monitor.

Beautiful play of colors. I like it with and without the swimmers.

I like the colour gradation. Good that it is on the diagonal too. While the figures are very small, the lifted arms of the one shows the enjoyment of being in the water.

A beautiful capture and I agree the wonderful colors make the photo. A very appealing shot. I find it odd, however, that as sharp as the swimmers and water appear to be there is no evidence that the water has been disturbed... no ripples, no splashes.

Manipulation - weird...

Beautiful bands of color--I like the swimmers, especially the one with the outstretched arms. Well done!

The colors are unusual and very inviting. The way they make the transition to blue in the distance makes you want to swim out there. A sense of scale is created by including the people.
