If Given A Choice

If given a choice I'd much rather be here than in So. Calif's continuing 100+
heat wave. Bryce Canyon NP, Utah following a big white dump. Low sun
pushing through the low clouds. Taken somewhere along the rim trail.

Thanks for comments. Lots of water if you're in the heat.

I'm going to assume that that shot wasn't taken recently...;)

Feb. 2010 following the biggest dump in 5 years. Great luck to be there.

I like the contrast between the red rock and the white snow (especially with a black background)... looks like icing on a red velvet cake. The misty background adds a moody feel to the picture. So cool and rainy today that I had to put on jeans instead of shorts to go outside.

So refreshing to see a snowscape image in the middle of a hot summer. Very lovely scenery.;-)

Very beautiful scene. In my life I have never seen snow as here in Malta
it never snow. I wish one day I will be able to take photos of snowy
scenes.

This is beautiful! As mentioned, good color combination - excellent exposure to capture
the texture of the snow.
