Don't miss Arches NP it's a photographers delight

Hasselblad with 80 mm lens, red filter,Konica infra red film & a tripod. I loved Konica IR much better than Kodak as it was much more fine grained and could change rolls in the sunshine. Don't think IR film is still made but there are ways to get IR effects in digital.

I like the perspective that you adopted for your photograph of the Arches with the layering that steps the eyes of the viewer vertically through the image from the rocky foreground through to the cloudy sky, the detailing and the highlighting of the Arches rock formation by the sunlight (just makes that area of the picture stand out strongly for me).
