I noticed with the thumbnail, and that sense carried through to the posted image, of a human hand seeming reaching into the picture created by the softness of the water rapids. I like the complementary nature of the colors of the stream and the foreground tree and the contrast in texturing between these two elements of the picture.

Eeeeven your straight photos are somewhat surreal. Nice work.

Looks great and I can feel the rush of the waters....What stream is this? I used to live in Somerset County and spent many hours along the Laurel Ridge......

Nicely put together. I enjoy your work.

Along the trail? Long ago I did some of the 'trail-cleanup' work, back in the 1970's.

A bit of toning down the blue might make this more natural looking, but if it's surreal you wanted, that works quite well.

Surreal and luminous. Very well done.

I like the blue aspect. Very imaginary! 8-)

Ah, the old Mystic Waters. Great greens and blues here. Looks great ! TG

I'll go against the grain here (pun intended) and wish the tree wasn't there. IMO it's just a big, uninteresting trunk blocking what is otherwise a very well done slow shutter speed stream photo. The area around the LRHC could use a little housekeeping.

Dave said it by me: Surreal and luminous. Different, and I like it!

Very enjoyable. Textures, colours, and shapes. No snowstorm this time?

A beautiful image that would be even stronger with a crop on left side to cut out water on left side of tree.

Hmm...think I'll go with Jeff on this one. Excellent slow shutter treatment on the water but the tree competes. As another image, the textures and tones on the trunk are quite fine in their own right.

Beautifully done! Love the water and the coloring throughout.
