The light works well to anchor the reflection of the dock in the water with the undulating nature of the dark reflection working to bring an abstractive feel to the picture.

Nice bands of grey, or "what have you been drinking". 8-)

A very nice, simple abstract.

This candle like light makes everything.

Fabulous effect from the barely moving water. Love the angle from which it was shot, and the shaded yellow, distorted light as relief from all the darkness.

seeing the unusual in the usual, another great eye

Super eye - love the flawless reflection and the deep water look to this image.

Wonderful Photo. And great work to create a feel to the image. Oh> and I saw some of your prints in the St. Vital mall the other day. Very rare that I go there, lucky me.

Thank you all for your comments. Interesting, Greg, regarding the prints. That must have been the 'Spirit of Winnipeg' display, which I contributed to by remote control after having moved to Victoria. :-)

Just another great Schaefer shot!

A whimsical Schaefer indeed. I like it even better turned 180 degrees.

Can't but agree with all the above!
The slow movement of the water working perfect for another great Schaefer (Had to repeat this!)

Another Garry Great!!!

Perhaps too much darkness atop weights this one down...
Try cropping some off and see what you think.

I don't know much to say about the technical stuff, but I do know what I like and this is one. I like the abstracted look.

This very good picture took a very sharp eye. Many of us would not even see it, you did !
