On Black Please

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Sun, 05/13/12 04:28

It's pretty..., bad that is. Even by your standards. A case of a bigger
posting size isn't always better.

I know my mother would appreciate the beauty of this flower... I do also with the image set against a black background.

Comments by Pietro Cecchi on Sun, 05/13/12 05:44

Very beautiful homage to the Mother Day... :)
So colorful and pleasing.

Comments by Jeff Dye on Sun, 05/13/12 09:33

An excellent flower composition. The stamen area is sharp. The backlight gives it a
nice, overall glow without blowing out the highlights and it fills the frame with no
distracting background. I'd like to know how it could be better.

It's a mess. But hey, yah gotta support the bro, Jeff.

Jeepers, this is truly awful. The thing looks like it has rotted.

Ditto Meek's comment above.

Why not here to on this gem.

Preachy sentiment coming from a homophobe. Moreover, depends on who
you
are dealing with.

Looks like Max is

And unending juvenile
name calling and

I think you should check some of your own commentary. Especially your
recent "joke". But you've always been such a hipocrite. Maybe you
could even go back to your behavior with Andy Laycock. You might even
check some earlier comments you've made on Slacker's threads. Mind you
he's probably deleted those.

And you know whatever you say to me is meaningless and certainly will
never change how I behave towards you. I like how easily I can get up
your nose. You prefer to get up other orifices. I like how with a few
simple words I can make you descend to the gutter you rail against.

Just wondering why anyone would want to encourage this behavior by
commenting on his
posts ...

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Mon, 11/26/12 13:29
Hi Alias. Welcome to my thread. Interesting that I matter so much to
you. That nose of yours must really be hurting. I think it's because
there is often so much truth imbedded in what I say to you. You are
the Photo club guy. Got all the answers on technique and equipment but
very little eye.

You seem to think your comments matter to me. And you definitely
consistently make the mistake that what matters to you matters to me.

As I've said here many times people can comment or not, it's not that
big a deal for me. Most people here receive little or no comment and,
for years now, I've received very little feedback that matters to me.
but I keep posting. 1514 images now and counting. A record for PC, I
suspect. And a very good collection as well.

Nobody other than our very very few respective PC friends could care
less about you or me, or how we interact.

I've been posting here since April of 2001 so I've run into a few
folks that I've tangled with. And as I've admitted before I am guilty
of occasionally behaving badly. With you it's like sport. When I'm in
the mood like today it's good fun but not really challenging.

Why would anyone support such deliberate hate-fullness ?

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Mon, 11/26/12 14:03
I'm looking for support? You must be joking or more bent out of shape
than I've imagined.

BTW, are you having a slow day? I am that's why I've got time to play.
But, I'm still getting a bit of work done.

Is it my imagination or is this your version of being very adult??

Comments by Alias on Mon, 11/26/12 14:07
Ernest is of the opinion that we are having a discussion.
He is mistaken.

My question is to you, the reader.

Why would anyone support such deliberate hate-fullness ?

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Mon, 11/26/12 14:14
Will all ten of you please speak up and help Alias out. He needs
support here guys and gals. Or god knows what he might do.

See now he won't even talk to me. Imagine what I'm going through right
now. I'd like this thread to get to at least ten comments. I mean it's
been a while I think since I've had ten comments. I'm afraid I just
might not get there with Alias not discussing with me and all.

And when commenting it would help if you don't hold bad your emotions
like Alias. Let it all out. Take some deep breaths and really let it
go. Let me have it. I even promise not to whine.

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Mon, 11/26/12 14:19
I'm just wondering Alias: Should I set my e-mail filter to block you
out. I know how important that kind of thing is to you since you went
to the trouble of letting me know I've been blocked. I'm still
struggling with that. Oh my you've hurt me in so many ways.

Oh and be careful how nasty you get with me just in case I get sick or
something. 'cause then you might feel like apologizing to me like you
did with Andy Laycock after you hounded him from the site and he got
sick.

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Mon, 11/26/12 14:37
Hmmm. I think you are starting to repeat yourself.

I think you've got the "readers" confused. First you ask them not to
comment on my threads and now you want to have a discussion with them
on my thread. Are you starting to get a little unhinged?

Well my dreams are so far fulfilled. I think this makes the tenth
comment. Shall we try for 20 now? I mean who knows where this could
go. I sure willing to do my part. And you can keep hitting the repeat
button. I might get a little bored with that though so maybe in a
comment or two you could try a new tactic.

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Mon, 11/26/12 17:25
Bump. Time for you to hit the repeat button so all those folks who
care
will come running.

My question is to you, the reader.

Why would anyone support such deliberate hate-fullness ?

Darn. I thought you would appreciate me helping to get the message out.

Hey you've only posted six images this year out of the thousands and
thousands you say you take. Can't we have more? Isn't the lifeline of a
photo site, even a critique site, ....photos.
