The golden hue of the grasses, the barren trees, the last ducks of the year preparing for migration... all the sense of the seasons passing from one to the other. And then such a strong reflection to serve as a foundation for a picture as well as picking up the significant elements from the far shoreline. Wondering what this would look like if you cropped out all of the sky, trees, and bushes, and included only the tall grass next to the river with the rest of the photo? I think it might look great that way, IMHO, because then you focus more on the ducks and the water and the beautiful reflection of the trees in the water. It might be worth a try...
