If I knew how to paint, I'd paint something like this.

But you did (paint, I mean) and it is beautiful. A dream town, lost in a magical forest, is what I see here...

Great image. Reminds me of some kind of ice castle.
Maybe you should take up painting.

displacement mapping is so 2006 ... :))

looks nice to me; I know what you mean.

Yes I can see that ice castle also that Jim mentioned. I would imagine this is a frosting on glass but it looks like no frost that I've ever seen... the imagine does look very much like a painting... vertical slashes of white on a purple background. Truly striking Linda!

THIS is VERY deep. I would love to explore this one fullsize.

Displacement mapping? I can barely deal with a curve layer.

Let's just say this is a painting, Linda's painting and nobody is going to tell me any different...

Don't know how it was done, but the effect is lovely.

With all the suggestive input above how can one NOT see a fairland in there. Good one!

Nice strokes and splashes of light! Also looks good in grey scale from any of the RGB channels.

If you are the princess of this beautiful ice palace, Linda, you'd better beware of the ominous looking storm a-brewin' up at the right!
Should be hanging in a museum of modern art!
