I like the textural feel of the composition (one has the sense that they could reach right into the image and feel the nature of the weathered nature of the wooden siding) and the muted nature of the coloring (especially when the picture is set against a black background). Initially when I opened the picture I thought that I was looking at the feathers of a bird in slight disarray.
