I keep missing the opportunities of capturing the hoar frost... the contrast between that of the frost on the branches and the colors of the grasses and fallen leaves is appealing. Find the hoar frost really works well when one can get the sunlight hitting the frosty branches which further enhances the contrast between the frost and the darker elements around the frost covered areas.

It does make it easier for the frosty branches to stand out when there is no snow. Very nice, John.

I like this shot, the frost and trees are beautiful. However I think that to be a Christmas card I
would like to see the ground snow covered. From what I hear you guys are knee deep in the
stuff right now!
