You did very well for a one day or few hour pass through the area. I prefer this over your
first post, not that the first was poor in any way. IMO this could use a little less of the hazy
distant background.

Gorgeous. Fabulous. Etc., etc. I want to go there.

Striking image of the Palouse. I especially like your inclusion of the little islands of trees and houses which helps to bring a sense of vastness to your landscape composition.

Without the more distant portion of this landscape one almost has the sense of looking a well manicured golf course.

Love it! And that tree looks perfect among the rolling green pastures...

Wonderful contours, patterns, and color.
The tree is a real bonus and it leads to the others.

Since you seem to have doubts about your monitor, this image is slightly "flat" with the
histogram falling just short on both shadow and highlights. It may be exactly as you want
it, but attached is an image adjusted in "Levels" so that the histogram just barely touches
both limits without clipping either end.

The difference is subtle, but I think using the whole tonal range adds depth by making the
foreground a little less remote and adding to aerial perspective.

If this seems "overdone" to you, I suspect your monitor may be too contrasty.

I see little if any difference. I have no reason to think my monitor is off, it's just that I have not calibrated it. Thanks for your feedback.

Wonderful place with great photo opportunities!
I think I would composed this image differently. The top of the image is not really that
interesting so I would crop from above to the little hill just left from the tree on the right.
