Pretty cool.
Might be nice to catch this in sunrise or sunset. Get out your tent!

The clarity from the foreground to the distant mountains really caught my attention. It is difficult to comprehend the power of glaciers until one sees a deposit field such as this littered with boulders that would take several of us humans to carry just one a few feet and the glacier would carry them miles sandpapering the landscape.

Alhough in the back-background the clouds are very apparent in this photograph. And very nice.

Great composition, beautiful colors

very interesting way to deal with this space

A very good one, Jeff. I like the contrast of the reds and the blues. It's a interesting looking landscape too.

Like the foreground, but curious about the abrupt lighting change at the mountains and the (at least on my monitor) black and white sky?

Would like to see the foreground lighten up as it approaches the mountain (so I guess I agree
with Russ). Nice scene.

Very interesting scene.
The light is a little flat.

I'm willing to believe that the camera was bubble vertical
and the middle ground and mountains actually do slope
but the image feels tilted.

Can't tell what you avoided in the foreground
but it seems a little more room on the bottom might feel more complete.

Like Ross, I wondered about the monochrome sky - but great foreground.

Jeff, mind telling us what focal length lens you used to get this great DOF?

What an interesting and unusual mix of colors in the total comp. I think it looks great for those two reasons. And I love that narly wood right at the lower edge. It sets the scene, right from the get go. Great Stuff !!
