Straight from the camera. Very little PS. ;o

I like this sculpture set against a black background... a little flipping here between the actual eyes and what I take to be the ears which also have a feel of being the eyes of a larger figure... the feel of two figures superimposed on top of each other within one sculpture. The contrast between the lightened portions and the framing darkness works to bring a 3D feel to the image.

Thanks for the input Alias but I'm wondering: Do you like the photo or
do you think straight from the camera would have been more effective?

Oh dear. Still not willing to engage in conversation. Whatever will I
do.

Meanwhile Don Quixote, carry on. No doubt you feel your integrity, such
as it is/was, is intact.

Well captured, with good definition where needed.

Don't put your hand in that mouth.

I wonder how you got the light to cooperate so well? Remarkable.

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Thu, 03/28/13 03:51

Actually Michael it's all in the processing. The original light was
nothing special.

My travel photography is all about very quick moments. I'm usually with
my wife and, while she's remarkably patient, I never get more than a few
moments at any scene. And, I rarely get any special light moments.

You're a bad boy Tony.

How's that house coming? We are thinking about doing the same thing.

Stunning. The darkness is very appealing.

Love the photo has a gothic type look and I like the way the back ground just makes the
forground stand out more.

Hey Ernest, new house is about 85% done but I've maxed out my loan so need to sell the old one now before I can finish. Progress has slowed in a major way, until I can sell the old house.

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Wed, 04/03/13 04:25

We sold our house just over a year ago so we shouldn't have that
problem. Keeping to budget will be the challenge. Thinking of choosing
the builder today.

Good luck selling that house. Hope the market is strong for you.
