Interesting floral feel created by the blurred motion of the foreground figure. I find I want to use your trademark vertical presentation with this particular image to enhance the flower like feel of the blurred figure.

Lovely pastel fluidity.

The reds are harmonizing and the blues are complimenting the reds and shiny streets and the reflections are all making me happy. Lovely.

I meant complementing the reds, not "complimenting the reds."
---------------------------------------------------------------------

The etymological meaning of "integrity" is "not broken up."

Alias has said his favorite author is Lao Tzu. Lao Tzu never wrote anything, but his spoken words were supposedly written down. Lao Tzu was one of the first libertarians. Seems to be a deep division within the body of Alias, who believes force is the way to get things done.

Lao Tzu (Witter Bynner translation)

57

A realm is governed by ordinary acts,
A battle is governed by extraordinary acts;
The world is governed by no acts at all.
And how do I know?
This is how I know.
Act after act prohibits
Everything but poverty,
Weapon after weapon conquers
Everything but chaos,
Business after business provides
A craze of waste,
Law after law breeds
A multitude of thieves.
Therefore a sensible man says:
If I keep from meddling with people, they take care of themselves,
If I keep from commanding people, they behave themselves,
If I keep from preaching at people, they improve themselves,
If I keep from imposing on people, they become themselves.

Perfect timing and shutter speed, resulting in a colorful, fluid and eyecatching piece of art. So different from your usual angular work.

Comments by Sandi MacDonald on Sun, 04/07/13 11:13

Quite different I must say. I like the colors and the softness.

By the way, when are you going to start using your posted name again, Ernest Cadegan? I really miss your name...;-)

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Sun, 04/07/13 11:56

I think it will be a while before I revert to my name. Alias has a lot
of hurt feelings to get over.

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Sun, 04/07/13 11:57

And, BTW Sandi, when are you going to post something. I'm missing your
work. You've made such awesome progress.

Comments by Sandi MacDonald on Sun, 04/07/13 12:55

Thanks Ernest. I will get back to shooting as soon as our spring weather starts to look like real spring...;-)

Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Sun, 04/07/13 12:58

Hmmm. That could be a while. Spring here looks like rain.

Interesting that Alias, who desires to haunt people he dislikes, now has something of a doppelganger haunting him.
