My first thought when I opened the thumbnail was the sense of a natural cathedral with the natural light flooding in through the canopy of trees.

I like the opening picture with the feeling of being closer to the water and the rocks with the highlighted trees and leaves drawing my eyes out of the darkened foreground as if I were moving towards the entrance to a cave from the darkened interior.

Beautiful. I like both but forced to choose and it would be the second. I like the texture of
the long foreground rock and the added height to the trees. A touch of fog in the
background doesn't hurt either. Opening up the shadows in the second is better IMO.

There you go again, showing that gorgeous stream, making me jealous! I'll choose the OP. I prefer the foreground rocks in it.

Both are gorgeous. Reminds me of a Turner painting.

Love them both. My favorite of yours at this location is still the one you had posted on 7/15/09. Nothing beats that tree bridge in that shot! :o)

a very beautiful image.

Both are very nice. I think I prefer the OP as I feel more a part of the scene. I think the log in
the second keeps me out, although it's still a very good photo.

I love this image - simple and very lush - good enough to eat!
