Very inviting feel from the perspective you adopted. I like the contrast between the house and the near paintlike feel of the background foliage and sky... with that contrast heightening the inviting sense that I mentioned previously.

There is a sense here that the season for using the deck is coming to a close. I like the framing. colors and the balance of the light. Is this hdr?

Great location, I'm envious.

Very painting-like feel to this and inclusion of children adds another dimension ....wonder what they are thinking.

A magical cottage in the woods.

I think the 'children' are wondering where the water is.

The children are the magic geniuses of the wood. Very nice, indeed a beautiful place.

Hot tub not going to be used much over the coming months I guess.

Nice one!

thanks everyone!

les - actually, winter is the best time to be using the hot tub!

Linda - other than the water in the hot tub, there is the lake directly behind where I'm standing; I'll post a lake shot soon.

I hope Jim is a friend you visit often.

Bare in the Hot Tub not a problem, just wonder about Bear in the woods.
