Those are the actual snowflakes in the image, taken with an Ewa raincoat on the camera.

More rust for the Tin Man. Taken same day.

My final snow photo for this year, even if it's true we're getting more snow this week.

A little late in the season... or perhaps early for the next season... but the opening picture would makes a wonderful Christmas card motif (with the visible snowflakes and the ducks in the pond). I like your capture of the Tin Man wearing the snow like a jacket. All the pictures work particularly well with a black background.

I really like the first shot. It is very artistic. Well done!

The OP is lovely. Did you convert it to B&W, or was it naturally monochrome? I think I see a bit of colour along the edges, or am I just imagining that?

Poor old tin man. He'll be poor old rusty tin man.

The OP is outstanding Ruth. Would be on the wall if mine.

Nothing like a good waterfowl picture and this one is great. Cold out there, but peaceful. The trees are remarkable.

The O.P is a super picture Ruth - pictorially and asthetically, the reflections are great and the inclusion of the water birds finally 'make it'for me.

i like the meandering stream in the OP and the ducks and snowflakes are an added delight. The comp is strong in #3. Tin Man stands out nicely in your middle shot.

I think your OP is super. It's a picture that catches your eye instantly, well composed with the captured snow falling.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. Believe it or not, we just got hit with about 8 more inches of snow here in Toledo, but I'm not going out there and shoot more snow pix. I'm done with it!

Hey Ruth, I love each of these! But the OP is the prettiest. Wow..I wish I'd get something this beautiful sometime. Great, great job! ;.)

All the three are good, but the OP sure is outstanding. All to like there! The tin man is cute, with his snow coat... :-)Not really a warming coat!
