In my opinion your best yet of this location, with the best light.

I like your sunset composition with the sunlight highlighting the wooden walkway, your use of the wooden walkway and the distant pier to serve as a framing for the cresting waves, and just the nature of the waves themselves which works to bring a sense of energy at the end of the day for me.

I love the visible wind. Good time-of-day shot.

So well captured that I yearn to be there. Warm, low light and a good stiff breeze.

Just lovely Julie, like Ruth says I wish I were there.

Why yes! Isn't this where Orville and Wilbur did there miraculous act of defying gravity? And isn't this wind why they chose this place?

Best one of this scene yet, Julie. Beautiful light, I love the rich tones on that foreground walkway. Definite improvement in the sky also, no more noise.

Someone once said to me that a great photograph should generate emotion in the viewer. I suppose that generating a need to actually BE there is an emotion. Others before me have expressed that and I feel it.
A little breezy but I still want ...

Very nice. Beautiful warm light.

Hmm...dare I dissent slightly. To me the strength of the walkway stretching across most of the bottom partially blocks my progress to the rest. Fine though it is I find that some of the earlier version from this site more dramatically captured the windiness and natural beatuy. That said, they are all strong images.
