I thought before I opened the picture that I would see a closeup of either the hide of gator or a crocodile but opening the image revealed even more to like... the vivid nature of the colors, the strong sense of texturing and the contrast between the green agave leaves and the brownish hue of the dead leaves. Another strong composition for me Jeff!

I like this and keep coming back for more. However, each time that I do come back the plant appears less and less natural and more digitally enhanced. Something I’m not used to seeing in your work. Was there much (any) post processing applied?
