Milking the goat and the horse watching

This is a photo that I took two days ago of a farmer while he was milking his goat. At the time of shooting the horse was watching us. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

a very pleasing and balanced triagular environmental portrait. your selective burning & dodging creates the illusion of depth. nice work.

As with so many of your pictures, the lighting is marvelous. Have you lit these scenes, or is the light natural. It hardly seem possible to find so many beautifully lit scenes. Nice work.

Once again the lighting is superb in the manner it highlights the man and two creatures with the viewer drawn to each in turn. There is a flow from the highlighted head of the horse to the goat and finally to the farmer milking the goat. A real slice of life feel to the composition helps to heighten its visual impact.

Very pleasing. Both the horse and the goat seem more aware of the camera than does the man. ;-)

Your usual superb control of light. I also like this for its humour, arising from the expressions on the two animals.

Wonderful composition and light, great expressions of the animals, and the man concentrated on his work... Excellent is the word for me, also!

Super! A very warm and heartening image. Who knew that goats were milked from behind? :-)

Nice lighting. Reminds me of the Dutch painter Vermeer.

I love this picture. We raised dairy goats when I was growing up, and if I had milk ours from behind I do belive I would have had a hoof in my face! How do you get such wonderful pictures?
