Great detail and testure in the cliff face. This pic is almost black and white, which makes the spots of color so vibrant. I bet this looks great in a really big print.

Impressive cliff. I like the colour of the water too, and the bits of ice.(?) Chilly!

I like your use of a low horizon line which works to bring a strong visual feel to the sheer nature of the rock cliff, the perspective which works to heighten the visual feel of the cliff, and the desaturated nature of the coloring.

Terrific shot. Must have been overwhelming to have been there.

Lovely line. The bit of haze and fog works well.

Thanks for all of your comments. It was, indeed, a very memorable trip. Among other things this was a fortieth anniversary adventure for Margaret and I. Ten days on the Island Odyssey, operated by Bluewater Adventures (North Vancouver, BC). The trip started in Prince Rupert, BC, ranged widely over SE Alaska and ended in Petersberg, Alaska. On the agenda were bears, whales and glaciers. In due course I plan to put up approximately 200 images on my web site and will continue to post some here on PC over coming weeks and months.

A beautifully composed picture. I love the mist and the faint outline in it as well as the
texture and detail in the cliff.
