The little fellow really stands out in the image set against the sand and the grass. I like your perspective shooting from the head level of the little boy while the catchlights in his eyes bring him to life for me in the picture.

Nicely done. Intense blue eyes. Great light and environment. His clothes fit well with the
surroundings. Might try a little rotation on the horizon line.

Jeff, Good catch on the horizon. The irony is that at one point on the beach I explained to
this boy's father how careful you have to be to keep level horizons and waterlines. Then here
I am with a tilted horizon. Fixed it easily and will look better when I give the parents this
photo. Thanks.

Couldn't be more tender than this, the boy's portrait, Tom... :)
The fence's interplay with the sand and the sea-line (even if not
straighten) adds the necessary magic to this early morning shot.
Colors and softness are wonderful.
