Comments by Jan Bjorklund on Thu, 06/04/09 15:49 I like the manner in which the clouds trail across the water... especially the arc on the left hand side ending with rain starting to fall. One wonders what this image might have been like either at dawn or sunset?... just the nature of the clouds and the reflective water makes me ask that. Comments by S Roter on Thu, 06/04/09 16:00 Like Jan, I loves these clouds, enhances any scene. Comments by Ernest Cadegan on Thu, 06/04/09 16:08 Nice glassy water. You need to fix that horizon. Comments by Linda Frey on Thu, 06/04/09 16:19 I thought I had, Ernest. It was bowed from the wide angle. Now it's maybe .23 CCW tilt. Is that what you see? Comments by Bryan Palmer on Thu, 06/04/09 16:32 Looks good to me, but I would have probably cloned out the shore/gravel area on the middle right side. Comments by Karen Habbestad on Thu, 06/04/09 17:15 I'm sitting here staring, expecting to see the water move.
Comments by s on Thu, 06/04/09 18:04 this is excellent! Comments by Richard Dong on Thu, 06/04/09 18:05 Big sky country, nothing else quite like it. Comments by Tom Manson on Thu, 06/04/09 21:26 This is great. Horizon ok for me.
Thanks for commenting, Steve, Karen, and Richard. Lovely shot, with the water, sky and clouds all contributing. Like Karen said, makes you feel your there! The horizon is concave. Not a big deal. But if it were mine I would fix it. Great light on those clouds, and a beautiful mirror. This is so nice and almost unreal. It reminds me of that Jim Carey movie, The Truman Show." |
