Comments by Trond Jostein Pettersen on Tue, 05/19/09 18:20 Lovely .. i like the light in this even though its a bit burned out on the sheeps back. The sun is rising up and new day is beginning .... (or is it evening?) ... Comments by wayne on Tue, 05/19/09 19:40 wonderful like an oil painting Comments by Jan Bjorklund on Tue, 05/19/09 19:44 I like your composition of the sheep... the quality of the light( as wayne comments), the toning and the subject matter all work together to bring a painterly feel to the picture. I've always wanted to photograph sheep and I had the subjects but unlike every other animal we had when the sheep saw me coming with a camera they would panic and run off. Comments by Linda Frey on Wed, 05/20/09 12:05 Before the shearing? They aren't as fat with fleece as the sheep I see here. Maybe because it doesn't get as cold where you are?

Very interesting. It has a painterly quality. I'm guessing this is one of those horse drives in OR? Nice catch. Very nice lightning |
