I like the gradual change in colours from dark to light...there is a nice warmth to this photo that only the fall can bring.

"Wow" doesn't come to my mind very often but you have it for this one. Great blend of warm and cool tones.

I find the slight transition in coloring works particularly well with a grey background (with a black background you loss some of the darker tones at the bottom of the image). There is a tranquil feel to your composition... I think besides working well as a picture hanging on the wall this would be a good candidate for a screen saver on a computer.

We have colour like that here, but usually caused by pollution from steel mills.
