I particularly like your opening post with the transition from the blurred background portion of the Queen Anne's Lace through to the sharp clear foreground portion of the flower.

A black background color serves each of these pictures well helping to bring more definition to the detailing and to complement the colors of the flowers.

A 'never seen before' is due, Sandi... :)

Your research about the colors and lights of the beautiful flower and
your phantasy in playing with the DOF both deserve a Bravo!

Very valuable series... :)

The OP is outstanding - very romantic.

Lovely colours, and romantic as Ruth says. The shallow dof gives the look of a crown, appropriate for Queen Anne!

Ditto Ruth and Linda

Beautiful! Are you taking these hand-held?
I love the pink ones.

Thanks everybody! Sharon, I do all my outdoor flower shots handheld...

Lovely, especially the 3rd one. I love Queen Anne's lace. It's everywhere. So many ways to
photograph them. You did well.
