Very nice! Reminds me of a school of fish swimming in an aquarium. Hmmm... I wonder what psychological implications that has? Well, at least I am not hearing voices.

This image really needs a darker background to make the delicate nature of the reeds and their reflective counterparts stand out as strongly as they should. The composition creates the sense of a written script for me... sort of looks like my signature.

Very nice as well. Becuase the ripples at the top are so much greater than on the bottom I'm curious as to whether this might be a composite.

Comments by Linda Frey on Fri, 09/14/07 14:27

Not a composite, Dan. Must be that the main reeds are reflecting onto calmer water.

An eye catching scene. I like the simplicity on the left side but IMO the composition gets cluttered as it moves to the right side. The more on that side than necessary.

These are both great images--simple and interesting. Great job!

nice, the more blurred reflections in the bg add a great effect

Wow, Linda...these are just wonderful. Love them! Ok...now I am going to have to not only go out into rain storms to captures images such as Tommy and Ruth have, but now I am going to have to go out to the lake and muck around the edges till I find something similar to this. ;0) Ahhh, but will it be as impressive? Probably not, but I'll at least have phneumonia and muddy feet to show for my efforts!

these two pictures you posted, Linda, let me remind the wonderful photographic paper Brovira and the dark room times, with a bit of nostalgia...
