That's a real "nothing" shot--has visual appeal even if you don't know what it is. Comments by Mike Hites on Mon, 11/14/11 01:00 OP is really appealing although I don't like the triangle in the upper right. I think it looks really
Comments by Mo Fridlich on Mon, 11/14/11 02:37 Nice collections of abstracts. I like the colors in the OP. Comments by Pietro Cecchi on Mon, 11/14/11 05:28 Delightful abstracts coming from you, Jan... :)
Comments by Steve Owen on Mon, 11/14/11 09:11 Good series! I especially like the "metal bolts and shadows" image. Comments by Rick Longworth on Tue, 11/15/11 11:12 Cool one Jan. Or should I say warm. Comments by S Roter on Tue, 11/15/11 23:10 I like tho color of the OP,and the motion. Comments by nguyen on Wed, 11/16/11 01:58 nice photos, simple and cool! The 1st photo give me a thought of a vinyl disc :) I like the constrast between highlight and shadow, between colours: red, yellow and cyan (I think) in that photo. Comments by BaRass on Wed, 11/16/11 03:54 Beautiful color in the OP, I like the motion in it a lot
Comments by Sal Santostefano on Thu, 11/17/11 12:04 You have such an eye for making the ordinary extraordinary and so very interesting. Your work never ceases to amaze me. I'm absolutely crazy about that warm color in the OP! The second picture is quite abstract and a bit of an optical illusion IMO. At first I'm looking at a steel beam but then I see shadows of wine bottles. The third pic works well for me because it's my initials ;o) and the last post is a bunch of fun for the eyes (another great abstract). Well done Jan! Comments by Ellen Williams on Thu, 11/17/11 19:36 The OP is just excellent, I keep going back to look at it over and over, it's got movement and color and texture and a bit of mystery, love it! Comments by Paul Bracey on Sat, 11/19/11 07:05 You're having too much fun.
Comments by Maria Salvador on Wed, 12/07/11 12:10 Did you try a square crop on the OP, to loose the green? Might work too, but then I'm "suspect" because I like square pictures... OP makes a great abstract, love the gradation of "flames" in the dark, from deep red to bright yellow! Also like very much the S shadows. Find them humorous, as if some little aliens were sneaking around, quietly... |
