I find the perspective works for me with the upward gaze of the young girl's eyes (enhanced by their catchlights)... just a slight blurring along the right side of her face as if your photographing her startled her somewhat. I find setting the image against either a grey, or black, background helps to heighten the quiet feel of your portraiture.
