Pensive... thoughtful... quiet... I find the perspective works for me with the upward gaze of the young girl's eyes (enhanced by their catchlights)... just a slight blurring along the right side of her face as if your photographing her startled her somewhat. I find setting the image against either a grey, or black, background helps to heighten the quiet feel of your portraiture.

Another great image. I would work on that halo on the right cheek and arm. Set the cloning brush to darken and , with luck, it should fill that in without effecting the cheek.
